Are they opened on sundays?
Service is very polite and quick.Place looks very clean and bright.Reputation says it is the best Chinese place since it opened in the 60's.And now that I tasted some of it I see why. I will return here.
MoreConsistently delicious food that is well-priced. Service is friendly and personable, and the restaurant is spacious while still having a cozy vibe.
MoreWe had a great experience! All food was delicious and prices are very reasonable. Definitely would advise to my friends.
MoreYou can't miss this restaurant if you are looking for authentic cantonese cuisine in Montreal. I have become a regular ever since I moved to Montreal. They have quite a good variety of choices including seafood, and they also serve dim sums in the morning. I would come here at least once a week
MoreBomb diggity baby. Da fried rice off the hook, dumplings are scrumptious. Staff joke wit you and I got a window seat. Look for my YouTube review soon. Love you guys. Rightbackatchu!
MoreI eat here at least once a month with my friends. Whether we are a group of two or eight the food and staff are always excellent. They always help us with great menu suggestions, the water glasses are NEVER empty. All the servers have a great sense of humor and are very attentive. The food is always piping hot and full of great authentic flavor.
MoreBest place for traditional Cantonese dim sum in Montreal.
Great food served in generous portions. The wait staff was very helpful and guided us in sampling dishes we never had the courage to try before. I strongly recommend!
MoreAbsolutely fantastic. Delicious food, great service.
Blah....meh..
Food ranged from meh to fairly good but the service was where they really fell flat. The waiter was incredibly rude, stressing to us that they were busy (despite a relatively empty restaurant) and they we were wasting their time. Just generally very intrusive and unpleasant. They took incredibly long to bring out our food too.
MoreOne of the best Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. The staff really makes you feel like family. If you order something and not sure how to eat it someone will gladly tell you how. It's my new favourite restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
MoreI really enjoyed having dimsum here! The food was tasty and they have phenomenal salty custard buns that look like piggies. They have a decent selection of dimsum favourites and all of them were great. It’s kind of hidden as you need to go up a set of stairs but I believe it’s catching on since many people were there when we were there, despite the awkward location. I would highly recommend trying it out for dimsum!
MoreIt's not the best chinese restaurant. From the 6 dishes that we ordered, we only truly liked 2, the rest was just flavorless. I give 3 stars just because the server was very nice.
MoreTerrible, rude staff. Looked up late night dumplings place, not from here. Found that this place was open until 1am, so take an Uber there. Arrive just before midnight and guy come to the door saying we're closed and to go find some place else to eat. But in the most rude and condescending way I've ever seen. Would definitely not try to eat here again when visiting the city.
MoreNice, big, clean restaurant with good selection and tasty dishes.
The food was great and the service was quick, I’d highly recommend.
I've been coming here for years, and I've never been disappointed. Excellent Cantonese style food.
MoreGreat service and amazing food at a reasonable price. What are you waiting for? Check these guys out now! Seriously some of the best Chinese food I've ever had!
MorePerfect place for family dinner!
Great lunch spot. Fantastic value, soup and a meal for under 10$ with their lunch special. Very friendly staff personable too!
MoreThe food was delicious, but the service was terrible. All staff seemed disorganized, and we didn’t feel welcome. We are definitely never coming back again.
MoreBest Chinese restaurant and Montréal
Good food! Good service!
Superb service! I will go back that's for sure. The quality and quantity of the food is phenomenal considering the price paid. I highly suggest asking the waiter their personal suggestions considering your own preferences. Located on the second floor you also benefit from a beautiful view of Montreal's China Town. You'll need a doggy bag for sure.
MoreGood dim sum experience. Not as good as the real thing overseas but fairly close. The front desk lady did try to con my father in law (from HK) that they owed 50% extra on the bill to cover tax and tip. When he explained how it works in China, he got a "discount" down to 15%. Fishy. The servers are very nice and friendly though.
MoreThe food was plentiful and delicious. My girlfriend and I are regular-sized humans but we love to take leftovers home whenever we eat out. The waiter (both the servers were very funny - great vibe at the table, clearly experienced at what they do and enjoying it, which is somewhat of a rarity at Chinese restaurants), well he kindly advised us that we were probably getting too much food, which was nice. But we told him to bring it on.Very good food and funny, helpful service. Would recommend.
MoreGreat restaurant, extremely clean, friendly service, great quality and good value. Weren’t busy due to people staying away from Chinatown. General Tao chicken, beef with vegetables and dim sum were great. This place is a step above the ones on the street and ironically on the second floor 😀. Highly recommended for the dining experience and view. Vote thumbs up if helpful!
MoreHands down best Asian restaurant in Chinatown. Owners are always working the floor and are supper friendly and hardworking.
MoreThile food is really excellent! They are very accommodating of children. Great spot!
MoreWe were invited there for our friend's birthday. I find this place very clean and very comfortable. There is a good view from windows as well. We ordered special menu for 4 people and were really surprised by the quantity of food on our table. The food taste amazing and waiter was very polite and caring. Also there are big tables out there so you can definetely come with the large group of people to spend your special occasions.
MorePrice is high but quality isn't. Going there is kind of wasting money.
Good dim sum and friendly, helpful waiter. Unfortunately experience somewhat spoiled by very aggressive demand for additional tip when we paid the bill. Would not return here.
MoreThe staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices and delicious food. Will be going back again.
MoreHands down the best service in Chinatown. Arriving here is like arriving home. Their food is consistently excellent - generous portions, wide variety and freshly prepared. I’m partial to the salt and pepper tofu and the Chinese broccoli with garlic sauce but everything is good. Go with friends so you can order more food !
MoreWe had our first Chinese lunch here. We ordered Lobsters, Chicken, Sautéed Beef and Sweet & Sour Pork. The dishes are good and tasty. I won't say it's the best in Montreal as I haven't try other restaurants yet but this will be on ny recommended list. The waiters and owner are friendly and helpful. The only thing I will comment is that a more powerful a/c will be needed for a hot summer but it's fine for dinner. Recommended!
MoreUp on entering we walked up to a booth where the women was texting on her phone. She ignored us until we finally interrupted her. We were seated and our chopsticks were promptly removed with out asking. Apparently our skin color was enough. (Annoying as we use them regularly when we go out) The server questioned almost everything we order as if we didn't understand what it was. We ordered apps as we wanted to try a variety of items. The food came quickly. Most were decent, I particularly liked the dumplings, others were not as good. Given the good reviews I was pretty disappointed and not at all impressed by the unwelcoming treatment.
MoreGreat place to eat in, 2nd floor atmosphere is nice. Very pleasant and friendly staff.
MoreFried chicken not good at all. Waiters ask for tips
5 out of 10....soup and rice good but duck wasn't. Not good value for money....18% tip !
MoreThe service and the hospitaly is super nice. The waiters/waitresses are super friendly and funny. A must go for chinese food!
MoreHad combo for 2 Ha GAO was good. General Tao chicken good. Everything else was average. 40$ for two I would go here again.
MoreService was attentive. Food great... too many stairs to restroom
An outstanding authentic Chinese meal in Montreal! What a delicious change of pace from the amazing French food that we have been eating! Service was friendly and knowledgeable! For sure we will come back again next time we are in town! 😋
MoreI ate dinner here once and enjoyed the experience. The waiters were very friendly and fun to talk to. I asked them to choose from the menu for me, asking for their personal favorites. I had the lobster, Thai beef and pad Thai with shrimp and chicken, and their dessert. The lobster was amazing--spicy fresh hot peppers with garlic and ginger. The other meals were good; I especially liked the simple dessert of fried creamy rice dough. I would eat here again.
MoreAll staff members sprak english or other languages, the food is delicious but pretty expensice.
MoreFood was ok service is not so ok...ate then payed only to have one guy ask for a bigger tip and made a stink about it...very unprofessional
MoreMy best dim sum place for now! Friendly humourous staffs leave me a good impression. Ordered custard buns, char siew bao, black bean pork ribs, fried shrimp dumplings, glutinious chicken rice, char siew chang fen, chicken feet and siew mai. All tastes so good except the pork ribs lack of black bean taste but its still delicious. 2 adults and 2 children finished everything. :)
MoreAlways awesome. Staff are very friendly and funny
If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. You're not getting anything you don't pay for and you will leave bursting at the seams. The staff was AMAZINGGGG like the NICEST people you'll meet in Montréal guaranteed. Basically ordered for us knew exactly what we should get and it was all delicious. If you're anywhere near Chinatown, GO HERE !!!!!
